WebI've been using TD Ameritrade for several years, and now that the buyout is actually taking effect, I'd like to understand Schwab's margin and settlement practices before my account gets transferred. In the past, I would buy a security and have until T+2 settlement to bring funds and avoid margin fees. Worked great.
